there shall be some things about my railways (all scales) on here shortly the picture is of one of my favorite locos the NER P3/ LNER J27 this was a workhorse of all jobs but would mainly be found around the coal fields of the north east there is one example left of this loco and back in 2004 I managed to get my feet on the footplate which started a many year long love of 0-6-0 goods engines which has not gone away. I have now got, thanks to oxford diecast, a model of one of these fine engines. which I have to say is a vey smart looking model but upon running her in I found she needed some slight modification to the running plate and connecting rods as on curves the coupling rods would catch on the underside of the forward footsteps and bind up.

the scales i model in are mainly 4mm to the foot with the occasional forray into 1:12th scale and the garden railway which is 1:1 scale 2 foot gauge.

some day soon there shall be some more posts on this but until then I’m going to have a biscuit of raw swede with a glass of pop.

No, you’re weird.
