after a brief hiatus due to an injury on my finger not a lot has been done over the Christmas period but not a lot isn’t not anything, so what has been done is as follows, the points have been semi completed (no easy feat with one hand out of action) and laid a siding along where it was to be,

at first I laid the siding with my 6 foot temporary panels to check the clearance and the length of the track needed, then once I removed the temporary track panels I laid the sleepers and the rails and then adjusted the fishplates and track layout ever so slightly to run a test train over it, the loco derailed on the points (as there are no check rails yet) and the wagons buffer locked due to the tightness of the curve (6 foot radius on a 2 foot gauge railway)

there is still plenty to be done over the next few months but there is a plan to start possibly selling rolling stock and items that some of you will find interesting.
